Research Experience:

She graduated from Dept. of Biochemistry, Wuhan University in 1980. She got her Master degree from Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985 with studies on photo-phosphorylation. She got her Ph. D degree from K?ln University, Germany in 1990 with studies on distribution and functions of thioredoxin in Cyanobacteria. From 1985 to 1987, 1991 to 1994, she worked as an assistant researcher, post doctoral and associate research professor in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences with studies on H2-evolution in cyanobacteria. From 1994 to 1999, she worked respectively as visiting scholar or post doctoral in Plant Biotechnology Institute, National Research Council of Canada with study on phage display technoloty and University of Saskatchewan in Canada whith study on mechanism of DNA damage and repair, Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School and Dept. of Biological Sciences, Wayne State University in USA with studies on singnal transduction pathways of insulin receptor and other growth factor receptors. From 1999 to present, she is working as associate research professor and then from 2000 as research professor in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences with studies on white spot syndrome disease virus and host-virus interaction by phage display antibody technology. Her current research projects are using phage display antibody technology and yeast gene deletion technology to build a high throughput method to study biomarkers of chemical carcinogens for enviromental health assessement.
