  中国科学院水生生物研究所研究员、博士生导师、学科组长。1998年在中国科学院水生生物研究所取得博士学位。19916月至19993月在本所从事快速生长转基因鱼培育,作为第三完成人获1996中国科学院自然科学一等奖和1997国家自然科学三等奖各1项,是1997年中国科学院青年科学家二等奖和院长特别奖获得者。19994月至20022月在美国明尼苏达大学从事鱼类胚胎发育和分子生物学研究。20023月至200512月在密西根大学生物医学研究中心从事细胞内的信号传导研究。20061月入选中国科学院百人计划,在中国科学院水生生物研究所组建新学科组,2007年获百人计划择优支持。2010年至今,武汉大学遗传学特聘兼职教授、博士生导师。2010-现在,兼任中国科学院水生生物研究所分析测试中心主任和技术研发与服务部主任。2013年入选武汉东湖高新区第六批“3551”人才计划。已发表学术论文60余篇,近5年以责任作者身份在包括HepatologyJournal of Biological ChemistryDevelopmental BiologyBMC Genomics等在内的国际重要学术刊物发表学术论文30余篇。学术兼职包括:1)任PLoS ONE学术编辑; 2)任中国遗传学会发育遗传专业委员会委员; 3)任中国稀有疾病研究联盟理事; 4)任IBIMA Publishing国际编委;5)任Journal of Acute Disease (JAD)编委会成员;5)任“国家斑马鱼资源中心”理事会理事;6)中国动物学会斑马鱼分会常务委员
