 缪炜,男,19745月生。中国科学院水生生物研究所研究员,博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。现任中科院水生生物多样性与保护生物学重点实验室副主任,水生生物细胞与分子生物学研究中心副主任,国际原生生物学家学会国际委员会委员,国际四膜虫研究指导委员会当然委员,中国动物学会原生动物学分会副理事长兼秘书长,湖北省动物学会副理事长,《Journal of Eukaryotic Microbiology》和《Zoological Systematics》等学术期刊编委。

 1996年和1999年在武汉大学分获学士学位和硕士学位;2002年于中国科学院水生生物研究所获博士学位。20047月至20051月和20071月至200812月以高级访问学者身份分别在美国加洲大学圣巴巴拉分校和罗切斯特大学开展合作研究。 

  目前,主要研究方向包括:原生动物进化基因组学与系统发育学,四膜虫进化与生态功能基因组学,四膜虫表观基因组学和四膜虫基因工程等。PloS Biology, Genes and Development, Molecular and Cellular ProteomicsScientific Reports等学术期刊上发表50余篇论文;主持了国家自然科学基金重大研究计划、国家国际合作专项等一批科研项目;主持建立了四膜虫功能基因组学数据库(Tetrahymena Functional Genomics DatabaseTetraFGDhttp://tfgd.ihb.ac.cn/)。
